So while the last post is still fresh I figured this was a good a time as any to let off a little steam over the Homestuck updates.
This isn't going to be all that long, so don't worry. I just don't like all these blatant Jesus parallels they have going on. Okay, Sufferer is Jesus, sure, and I thought Kancestor as Mary was a cute idea as well, but we have a Mary Magdalene and a sort-of Judas and a torture instrument being used as a religious symbol and everything. It is just getting kind of over the top and it rubs me the wrong way.
Also, I don't like how Nepcestor is just the Disciple - is that the only thing she ever did with her life? Admittedly I think I've been biased by excellent fanart like this and this, but I expected her to be some kind of awesome huntress ("Huntress" even has eight letters!) and not just be defined by her relationship to the Sufferer. She could have been his disciple, but I don't think she had to be The Disciple, y'know?
(Also I'm not fond of Karkat/Nepeta becoming canon in general, but I know, I know, ancestors are not the same people and I'm starting to warm to Sufferer/Disciple anyway on account of cute fanarts, so whatever.)
(Also I don't like the idea of Redglare being an early troll-Christian because I have taken Hussie's flippant Formspring comment about Terezi being troll-Jewish way too seriously.)

And on to Digimon!

I decided to do some montages for these moments, to make it more interesting and whatnot. These are my first ever montages of this kind so please let me know if they are any good, as I spent a long time on them. ._.

Day 19: A moment that made you happy.

Well, unfortunately, it turns out I really need to rewatch the show, as I could not remember all that many happy moments by myself. :( However! Yuki suggested Gatomon finding out she is the eighth Digimon, and at first I did not think I remembered the scene well enough to do it, but Gatomon was always my favorite character so I went and rewatched the scene and what do you know, it was pretty darn happy and heartwarming. ♥ Here's the montage.

The happiness does not last of course as this is Digimon, but it works out all right for these two in the end. :B

(Also, watching this scene made me realize that Wizardmon is a hottie. Which... also made me happy. ._.;;; The first time I watched this show I did not yet have a thing for ponytails okay)

Day 20: A moment that made you sad.

Oh god you would not believe how sad I got going back to take these screencaps.

I am so glad they finally got back together again or I would have been sad forever. Heck, I could have used some of the reunions as the happy moment, but that would spoil this one. :B

Day 21: A moment that made you angry.

I wasn't going to montage this one, but I guess the montage bug bit me so I ended up doing it anyway.



I've hated this bit ever since the first time I saw it, and screencapping this I got angry again. They're tricking and forcing him into doing something he doesn't want to do. Look at those smug grins on Takeru and Daisuke's faces as they frog-march him into the capsule. I don't care how much it was for his own good or whatever their excuse was, it was a jerk move. I would have been so mad. I still am. >:|

I considered doing the 02 epilogue for this also but I thought that might be a tad obvious.
