So it looks like my old Neopets account will be deleted tomorrow because I can't remember the stupid fake birthday I signed up with. ;_; I know I haven't used that thing in years (mainly because I can't remember the stupid fake birthday I signed up with), but it was a huge thing in my life for a while. I even had friends there, which was unusual for me. I took screenshots so I'll remember it, but still. I'm gonna miss it. ;_;

Umm. On a less depressing note, I saw Scott Pilgrim yesterday. I think HG's reaction is better written than anything I could say, but to sum up: quite good. It's made me start reading the books as well; I'd be perfectly happy for the movie to be my canon, except that everyone in the books is so darn cute. So there's that then. 1/6 BOOKS COMPLETED

I've also started reading the Hunger Games. They do not disappoint. Captivating, original, well-written. It was hard for me to put the first book down to write this entry. Unless it somehow becomes terrible at some point later, I recommend it.

Still trapped in TV Tropes, as I have been for the past few days. (Someone send food.) It has not been in vain, though: I present you this video as my spoils. (IT'S FUNNY OK)

No Pokémon updates to speak of.

Neopets! Aw, man.. I remember when I was really into them. It's funny, recently I've gotten one or two e-mails from the site declaring that my account was going to be deleted since I'd not used it in.. years. XD; Aw, man. Memories. I was horrible at keeping my pets alive and happy, and earning money to do stuff.. urg.

Aw, Neopets! :c Sometimes I miss that site... And then I go back and realize the art kind of sucks now and I'm not in middle school anymore...

TV Tropes! Through your mention of that place, I will probably go there now and forget real life exists again.

I feel like such a giant dork for being active on Neopets again, but for some reason I just can't stay away.

I'm real sorry about your account. D: Fake birthdays always seem to be the fatal flaws when keeping accounts active. And it's true, even if you're not as active, there are still many memories piled up on a single account. ;3;

Neopets! Dude, I used to be such a fan of that site... xP It's been forever since I've played that, ahaha. But the whole birthday thing was always an issue for me too... ><

But Hunger Games was okay. I didn't think it was that original, but maybe it was because I read Battle Royale first. It's basically a more violent/graphic version of Hunger Games. xD There's a manga for it too, but the novel was really much better in my opinion.

Interesting. I read Battle Royale first and was dreading that Hunger Games would be a rip-off. Surprisingly, outside of a bit in the second half of Catching Fire, it's pretty thematically and stylistically different from BR despite the conceptual similarities. I'd say it's more like Kino's Journey mixed with Battle Royale.

Hmm, I could definitely see that. I actually haven't read Catching Fire yet, so my impressions were solely based on Hunger Games, but I'll take a look now and see the differences. :3

fajdlskfajdksf I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS. I always made up birthdays for my old NP accounts because then I could be "old enough" to use the forums, but that came back to haunt me because now I can't log into any of my old accounts. D':

Oooh, I keep hearing that Scott Pilgrim's a good one. I've read the first book a little while ago, and it was definitely intriguing and... yeah, adorable, ahah.

A-And oh my god TV Tropes eats SOULS. Only God knows just how much freaking time I've spent on that site. And then you start thinking of everything irl in terms of tropes and it just scars you. But you can't help but love it anyways. :|

Just try every possible date that would have made you over 13 when you signed u--

Wait, didn't you say you weren't allowed to use a fake birthday or something? I remember when I found out that the totally random date I chose put me over 13 and I could neomail and stuff, and I told you about it, and I think it was your dad who was all like "No, you're not signing up with a fake birthday" or...well, something along those lines, but that he would actually say...try your real birthday? XP If that doesn't/didn't work, do what I said before.
